fjcstudio receives three International Architecture Awards

Darlington Public School, Sydney, by fjcstudio

fjcstudio has received three International Architecture Awards from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The awards recognise architecture that fosters belonging, supports learning and strengthens community.

The three awarded projects are Darlington Public School in the Schools and Universities category, Yellamundie Library at Liverpool Civic Place in the Libraries category, and Reuben College at the University of Oxford in the Restoration and Renovation category.

The awards were presented at a ceremony in Athens, where fjcstudio was one of two practices, alongside Zaha Hadid Architects, to receive more than one award. The projects were selected from more than 1,000 submissions from around the world.

Darlington Public School was named World Building of the Year at the 2024 World Architecture Festival. Yellamundie Library anchors Liverpool Civic Place at the southern end of Macquarie Street, and Reuben College received the Hugh O’Neil Award for Heritage at the 2025 International Chapter Architecture Awards of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Congratulations to the fjcstudio teams in Sydney and Oxford, and thank you to our clients, consultants and builders. See more of our awards.
