Galleries

fjcstudio designs galleries and museums that connect collections, people and place. Our work ranges from new buildings to additions within significant heritage fabric, each grounded in a careful reading of site, history and Country.

Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki was named World Building of the Year at the 2013 World Architecture Festival. At the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and Newcastle Museum, new work opens historic buildings to the public, while AGWA Elevate gives the Art Gallery of Western Australia a rooftop for the city.

Our galleries balance the environmental and display needs of collections with generous public spaces for gathering, learning and ceremony.
